Passionate cross-country skiers also get their money's worth in Saalbach. Before skiing. After skiing or on a ski-free day: cross-country skiers will find 2 perfectly groomed trails in Saalbach, both for skaters and in classic style: on the one hand the circular trail at the end of the valley and on the other hand the high-altitude trail on the Reiterkogel. Both trails can be reached from Hotel Das NEUHAUS in just a few minutes by car.

If you are looking for alternative winter activities, you will land pretty quickly on one of the toboggan runs around the Hotel Das NEUHAUS. The toboggan run at the Spielberghaus in Saalbach is the closest. Depending on your mood, you can walk uphill to 1,300 m to the Spielberghaus - or as an alternative, let the snowcat shuttle you to the top - before you plunge into the 3 km long downhill run.

But there is also a beautiful run at the Reiterkogel in Hinterglemm. On 3.2 km it goes downhill here - from Monday to Saturday even in the evening by floodlight. Use is even included in the ski pass price. Other toboggan runs in the Home of Lässig are Timok's Coaster in Fieberbrunn, the Almbahn 4er in Leogang and Leo's Kufengaudi also in Leogang.

Fun and games are guaranteed when curling in a fun group or with the whole family. On the well-maintained rink in the Saalbach Hinterglemm Sports Center, two teams or individuals always compete against each other and show how good their accuracy is on the ice. The rink is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and offers rental ice sticks.

The skating rink is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
